The Best Of British Variety Tour is back for it's second year
in 2009 after the huge success of last years inaugral
tour. Brought to you by Tony Denton Promotions
this unique tour unites the cream of variety entertainment from
past decades. After popular demand Cannon &
Ball are back to headline alongside a brand new line up of talent
that is Tom O'Connor, Faith Brown, Bucks Fizz, Roger De Courcey and
Norman Collier.
CANNON & BALL - Tommy Cannon and Bobby Ball
are one of Britain's funniest and most successful double acts
ever. In a career spanning 44 years they have achieved a
string of honours that makes them among the all-time greats of show
business.
TOM O'CONNOR hosting this years Best of British
tour and a TV legend who had his own shows 'Tom O'Connor',
'Wednesday At Eight', 'Night Out At The London Casino', 'London
Night Out', 'The Tom O'Connor Show' and 'The Tom O'Connor Road
Show.
FAITH BROWN renowned as the
"First Lady" of impressions. Liverpudlan Faith's music career
started at 15 with her brothers in a group called 'The Carrolls'
which led to many TV appearances.
BUCKS FIZZ The most successful 2
boy/ 2 girl harmony group ever to emerge from the UK starting when
the band won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1981. Worldwide
record sales have exceeded 50 million, resulting in 3 number 1 hits
and over 20 entries in the British charts.
ROGER DE COURCEY & NOOKIE
BEAR Roger is one of Britain's leading ventriloquists. He
has appeared several times at the London Palladium, including a
Royal Command Performance, and has starred in theatres and night
clubs throughout the UK including summer seasons and
pantomimes.
NORMAN COLLIER sited by the
legendary Eric Sykes as the greatest original comedy talent of the
20th century and by Jimmy Tarbuck as the 'comedian's comedian'
Norman is a rare jewel of British comedy.
