HIC at Confex - Day 2
Release Date: 13 February
2008
Day 2 of Confex has seen a constant flurry of visitors to the
HIC stand B130, with enquiries from both domestic and international
event organisers. Post-show familiarisation visits to HIC are
already in the diary, and many more are still to be arranged.
Topics discussed today include sustainability, where HIC
implement a growing range of measures and seek new initiatives on
an ongoing basis. Functionality of the award winning Queen's Suite
was also explored, where a theatre style seating layout can
accommodate up to 600, and the room can also be reconfigured to
create up to 10 smaller breakout rooms. Requests for this type of
flexibility are growing in demand from clients across the
spectrum.
Stand visitors were also keen to hear about the facilities
offered in Hall Q, a truly all-inclusive facility presenting event
organisers with everything they need, supported by a dedicated team
who do all the hard work. Event organisers can take as much or as
little space as they require. For larger events, the adjacent Kings
Suite provides a seamless link between hall Q and the rest of the
venue.
Centrally placed between London and Edinburgh event organisers
find Harrogate's geographical location appeals to delegates up and
down the country. Add to this the impressive record the town holds
in the Britain in Bloom and Entente Floral competitions, and it
isn't hard to see why Harrogate is consistently voted in the top 5
of the country's most desirable places to live.
Come see us tomorrow, we'll be delighted to discuss the
Experience Harrogate offer and how we can tailor our offer to make
the most of your event. Also tomorrow we have special Valentines
Day incentives, want to know more? Visit us at stand B130.
