A Taste of Yorkshire

On Thursday the 17th January, UK conference buyers and
journalists will be converging on the Millennium Hotel London
Mayfair to sample the finest of culinary delights from Yorkshire,
prepared by celebrity chef, Brian Turner.
The event, hosted by Yorkshire Tourist Board, Yorkshire's six
conference bureaux and Brian Turner, will offer the opportunity for
meetings buyers and journalists to learn about Yorkshire's
extraordinary range of inspiring meetings venues and conference
destinations and of course, give them the chance to taste the best
food the region has to offer!
The event will be based around the delights and excellence of
cooking in Yorkshire, with opportunities to experience a Yorkshire
breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea following formal meetings with
representatives of YTB and its six partner conference bureaux.
During the pre arranged buyer supplier networking meetings, buyers
will learn how Yorkshire can deliver the right ingredients for
event success, from venue finding and bidding support to fresh and
exciting social programmes and incentive opportunities. All of the
meals served will be traditional Yorkshire dishes, prepared by
Brian Turner, who is an expert on Yorkshire food having been born
and bred in Halifax.
