Sun Pavilion Fundraising Lunch
Sun Pavilion Invites You to Lunch
25 October 2007
BBC Radio presenter Georgey Spanswick, will be the guest
speaker at a special fund raising lunch to be held at the Sun
Pavilion on Thursday 15 November. The lunch gives company PA's and
event and meeting organisers an opportunity to experience this
unique venue which has hosted hundreds of company gatherings since
its' reopening in 1998 by Her Majesty The Queen. Funds raised
from the event will go in support of Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The Sun Pavilion received lottery funding to sensitively
restore the building to its former 1930's art deco splendour,
including a parquet dance floor and the unusual glass-domed roof
intricately worked with ornate, stained glass designs. Overlooking
Harrogate's Grade II listed Valley Gardens, clients can add style
to their event with a band in the bandstand, and pre dinner or
coffee break drinks on the colonnades. The facility can host
banquets and dinners for up to 150 people and conferences for up to
200 delegates.
Anyone wishing to attend the luncheon, and who is responsible
for selecting venues for corporate events, are welcome to come
along. Contact Kelly Trott at Harrogate International Centre, tel
01423 537271 for further details or email

Places are limited so please book early to avoid
disappointment.
