Plans Unveiled
Redevelopment Plans Unveiled
Holding statement, 3 July 2007
Harrogate International Centre is to submit plans to the full
Harrogate Borough Council meeting on the 19th July for an intended
six year £45million phased scheme to redevelop the
Centre in order to enhance its position as a leading events
venue.
If the proposal is approved, the Centre hopes to raise
approximately 50% of the funds from other sources, including the
regional development agency. The balance will be made up of
loan funding and HIC revenue reserves, in order that the scheme can
proceed without impact on the local taxpayer.
Further details will be announced post 19th July.
