Robert Anslow, director at HITF, said: “Our show is always the first show of the year and this was our 63rd show here in Harrogate so we obviously enjoy coming here! We work hard all year to ensure high quality attendance at the show and I’m delighted we are seeing the results of our hard work with a significant year on year increase in attendance. “
Angus Houston, director at HIC, said: “The increase in visitor numbers is great news. It’s a win for one of our most important clients and a win for the town. More visitors to the exhibitions and events here at HIC means more customers for the bars, restaurants and shops in town. I congratulate the HITF team on their success and look forward to seeing them again in March when they bring the Harrogate Nursery Fair back to Harrogate.”
HITF organises both Harrogate Christmas and Gift Fair and The Harrogate Nursery Fair which bring in excess of 10,000 visitors to Harrogate and the district and more than £2 million to the local economy.
