DDA

 

Harrogate International Centre takes its DDA responsibility seriously and as such has:-

8 dedicated blue badge spaces within the HIC underground car park, with escalator and lift access to the main reception area

 

All areas and levels are accessible to wheelchair users via passenger lifts and chair lifts

 

Main Auditorium has seven dedicated wheelchair positions on a single  tier accessed via a lift. Extra spaces can be allocated on the flat floor space if required with access via a curving ramp from the lower and upper foyer areas

 

All conference venue spaces (Main Auditorium, Royal Hall, Kings Suite and Queens Suite) have Induction Loops

 

We can install temporary Loops in rooms that don't have permanent installations

 

All reception desks have Induction Loops

 

Dedicated access/disabled friendly toilets throughout the venue

 

All front of house personnel are trained in DDA awareness

 

We have relationships with local Shopmobility providers to access mobility scooters for visitors and exhibitors if required when on site
